The Galaxy Music smartphone launched last year by the Sammy with Android 4.0 Ice cream sandwich operating system (OS) on board is ready to get the OS update.

Samsung has officially started to update the Galaxy Music (product code: GT-S6010) to Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean OS.

This update will bring a new TouchWiz Nature UX interface to this 3 incher. The device is expected to be faster and have a better battery backup with this update. The roll out has started for those in UK now and is soon expected to come out in other countries also.

One can update the device using Samsung KIES or look for over-the-air update.

The Galaxy Music dual-SIM phone made its way to the online retail stores in India silently last year in December. This phone has a 3 inch LCD capacitative touchscreen dual-SIM phone and runs an 850 MHz processor. It has a 512 MB RAM and 4GB internal memory which can be expanded up to 32 GB with a microSD card. This phone has got a FM radio and a video player.

This phone has a dedicated music key, Sound Alive and SRS audio technologies and also features dual frontal speakers.
